About OTD/PhD Double Degree

Receive mentoring throughout both degree paths from clinical and research experts.
Study with a cohort of clinical scholars who are also pursuing both degrees.
Complete both degrees in a timely manner.
Potential to receive full tuition funding for both OTD and PhD.
Priority given to Double Degree students for Instructional Assistant/TA positions.

Demonstrate dedication to research and preference for an externally funded independent research career.
Must have at least a 3.0 GPA

All PhD students who are enrolled in Kinesiology Occupational Science Track course work are guaranteed funding through TA/RA/PA positions or fellowships. These funding mechanisms cover tuition and a 50% stipend.
Up to 2 qualified students per year will also receive full tuition for their OTD course work. Priority for this funding goes to students who follow Option 1 pathway (see above). This funding, if awarded, does not cover fees, books or stipend, but will cover the full 97 credits required for the Entry-Level OTD.
